Mike T. Cherry is a self taught, colorblind artist specializing in pencil portraits and illustrations. In a world of digital art and virtual images, Mike practices his profession with pencil and paper and creates vibrant portraits in the traditional way. Using a keen eye, he produces images with an uncanny optical clarity that at times, are often mistaken as photographs. Because of this, he often now leaves a small corner of his newer works unfinished, to reinforce the hand made nature of the artwork.
